You reject traditional roles that seem oppressive. But now you have to figure things out for yourself, with no road map. Disney has *always* been about managing content. It's just that before, a lot of people felt it was okay to sanitize what children watched. Now they're more blatant and broadly based, but they're still sanitizing content to make it into what they want it to be. Frankly, I'm surprised that this comes as a shock to anyone. It is *not* just DEI policies. It's the desire to control content. In short: to control what we see, what we hear, and what we believe. They don't want to entertain us anymore, they want to program us, and their policies are merely a result of that desire.
